Resin rings
When I first started working with resin, I mostly made bracelets. But I don't always wear a bracelet, and I really wanted to showcase my collection of glass eys...so I decided to try rings. Since then, I have become addicted to making them. They are a lot of work for such a small piece, but I love how the antique glass doll eyes combine with neon bits and holographic glitter to make a magical futuristic eyeball!
Eyes fresh out of the mold! They still need to be trimmed, sanded, polished & more...This is the moment of truth, you never know where the glitter and beads will land.
Each ring is unique, both because I use one of a kind antique glass doll eyes, but also because of the unpredictable nature of resin & glitter.
Finally!! After the resin is fully polished, it is mounted on a ring base & ready to wear. Shown here with one of my favorite ingredients: raver macaroni (and a bunch of my resin bangles).
