2015 got off to a rocky start for me. Heightened emotions, working from home, and weather that is forcing me to stay inside has lead to a lot of introspection. Sometimes my feelings distract me from my work, so I decided to give myself an assignment to take a monthly self portrait. 

So far I have taken self portraits in January and February. In these photos, I have not curled my hair or applied liquid eyeliner or painted my nails. I have taken them spontaneously when I don't feel great. Both months, I've edited down to two images, one where my face is obscured and one where you can see me.
